Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, toasted cumin seeds, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green onions. Stir thoroughly.
  • Season the filling with salt and black pepper, mixing until well combined.
  • Take a wonton wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center. Moisten edges with water to seal.
  • Fold the wrapper in half to create a triangle shape and press edges to seal.
  • Repeat until all filling is used, placing dumplings on a floured surface.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Test oil temperature.
  • Add dumplings to hot oil in batches, frying for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove dumplings and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving with dipping sauces.
