Ingredients

Pasta

Chicken

  • 1 pound Boneless, skinless chicken breasts Cut into bite-sized pieces.

Cream

  • 1 cup Heavy cream For a luxurious, creamy texture.

Lemon

  • 1-2 units Fresh lemons (juiced) For bright and zesty flavor.

Garlic

Cheese

Instructions

  • 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  • 2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and allow it to heat up.
  • 3. Add chicken to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  • 4. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds.
  • 5. Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • 6. Add lemon juice to the cream mixture, adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • 7. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Add reserved pasta water if too thick.
  • 8. Return chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce.
  • 9. Drain pasta and add to the skillet, tossing to combine.
  • 10. Add reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat gently on the stove.
