Instructions

  • Gradually add powdered sugar, starting with 2 cups, mixing on low speed until incorporated.
  • Add mint extract, starting with 1 tsp, and mix well. Adjust to taste.
  • If desired, add food coloring and fold into the mixture until evenly colored.
  • Dust hands with powdered sugar and roll small portions of the mixture into balls.
  • Place rolled mints on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced apart.
  • Optionally, roll mints in granulated sugar for added sweetness and texture.
  • Refrigerate the baking sheet for at least 30 minutes until mints are firm.
