Instructions
Wash cucumbers thoroughly and slice them into thin rounds. Place in a large mixing bowl.
Sprinkle salt over the cucumbers and let them sit for 10-15 minutes.
In a separate bowl, mix sour cream and chopped dill until well combined.
Add garlic powder, black pepper, and white vinegar to the dressing and mix well.
Drain excess liquid from cucumbers if desired, then add diced red onion and toss.
Pour the dressing over the cucumber mixture and fold gently to combine.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Stir gently before serving to redistribute the dressing.
