Instructions

  • Wash cucumbers thoroughly and slice them into thin rounds. Place in a large mixing bowl.
  • Sprinkle salt over the cucumbers and let them sit for 10-15 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, mix sour cream and chopped dill until well combined.
  • Add garlic powder, black pepper, and white vinegar to the dressing and mix well.
  • Drain excess liquid from cucumbers if desired, then add diced red onion and toss.
  • Pour the dressing over the cucumber mixture and fold gently to combine.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • Stir gently before serving to redistribute the dressing.
