Ingredients

Chicken Breast

  • 1 pound Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast Diced into bite-sized pieces.

Gnocchi

  • 16 ounces Store-bought Gnocchi Made from potatoes, flour, and eggs.

Heavy Cream

  • 1 cup Heavy Cream For a rich, creamy texture.

Parmesan Cheese

  • 1 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese For topping.

Garlic

  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic For flavor.

Italian Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning A blend of herbs.

Salt and Pepper

  • to taste Salt

Fresh Parsley

  • 1 handful Chopped Fresh Parsley For garnish.

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil and let it warm up. Add the diced chicken breast, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 5-7 minutes until no longer pink.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional minute.
  • Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and stir well. Allow to simmer for about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the Italian seasoning and half of the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring well.
  • Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet and gently fold into the sauce.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the top.
  • Bake for about 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

For variations, consider adding vegetables or different cheeses. This dish is perfect for meal prep and can be made ahead of time.
