Instructions
Prepare your corn: Remove kernels from fresh corn, thaw frozen corn, or drain and rinse canned corn.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat until bubbling but not browned.
Add corn to the skillet, stirring to coat with butter, and sauté for 3-5 minutes.
Sprinkle flour over the corn and mix thoroughly.
Slowly pour in heavy cream while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
Add sugar, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then remove from heat.
Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with parsley or chives if desired.
Serve warm and enjoy!
