  • 1/4 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon All-purpose flour For thickening.

Instructions

  • Prepare your corn: Remove kernels from fresh corn, thaw frozen corn, or drain and rinse canned corn.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat until bubbling but not browned.
  • Add corn to the skillet, stirring to coat with butter, and sauté for 3-5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle flour over the corn and mix thoroughly.
  • Slowly pour in heavy cream while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  • Add sugar, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then remove from heat.
  • Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with parsley or chives if desired.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
