Instructions

  • 1. Brown the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat until golden brown and nutty.
  • 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine granulated and brown sugars, then pour in the cooled brown butter and mix.
  • 3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla extract.
  • 4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
  • 5. Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • 6. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  • 7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • 8. Scoop dough onto prepared sheets, leaving space between cookies.
  • 9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are slightly underbaked.
  • 10. Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
