Instructions
Prepare the cake: Slice store-bought sponge or pound cake into even layers.
Whip the cream: In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip until soft peaks form.
Prepare the pudding: If using store-bought pudding, prepare according to package instructions.
Start layering: In a trifle bowl or individual glasses, add a layer of cake at the bottom.
Add berries: Layer mixed berries on top of the cake.
Add whipped cream: Spoon a layer of whipped cream over the berries.
Add pudding: Spoon a layer of vanilla pudding or custard over the whipped cream.
Repeat layers: Continue layering cake, berries, whipped cream, and pudding until the bowl is full.
Finish with berries: Top with fresh berries and mint leaves.
