Instructions

Slice your loaf of bread into thick slices, about 1 to 1.5 inches each.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, and salt until fully combined.
Pour the custard over the bread and gently press down to ensure every piece is coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.
