Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper if using. Mix well to form a marinade.
  • Add the chicken drumsticks to the bowl and coat each piece evenly with the marinade.
  • Place the coated drumsticks on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the skin is crispy and golden brown.
  • Remove the drumsticks from the oven and let them rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
  • If desired, sprinkle fresh parsley over the chicken before serving.
