Fresh Herbs

  • 1 cup Fresh Basil Leaves Select vibrant green leaves and avoid any that are wilted or discolored.
  • 1 cup Fresh Parsley Wash and dry the leaves thoroughly before use.
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Fresh Chives Look for chives that are firm and bright green.
  • 1 clove Garlic Use a fresh clove for the best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Plain Greek Yogurt Choose a high-quality yogurt without any added sugars.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice Fresh lemon juice enhances the freshness of the herbs.
  • 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil Opt for high-quality olive oil for its rich taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt Adjust to your taste preference.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper Use freshly ground for the best results.

Instructions

  • Rinse the basil, parsley, and chives under cold water and pat dry.
  • Remove basil leaves from stems and place in a blender with parsley and chives.
  • Mince the garlic and add to the blender.
  • Add Greek yogurt and lemon juice to the blender.
  • Pour in olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  • Transfer to a jar and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
