Instructions
Gather all your ingredients and tools. You will need chia seeds, your choice of milk, sweetener, flavorings, and any fruits or toppings you prefer.
In a large mixing bowl, combine ½ cup of chia seeds and 2 cups of your chosen milk. Stir well to ensure the chia seeds are evenly distributed throughout the liquid.
Add your desired sweetener to the mixture. Start with 2-3 tablespoons and taste the mixture. Adjust sweetness as needed.
If using flavorings, add them now and stir well to incorporate.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least two hours, or overnight if possible.
Check the texture of your chia pudding. If too thick, stir in a little more milk.
Layer the chia pudding into jars, alternating with fresh fruit or toppings until jars are filled.
Top with nuts or granola for added crunch, cover, and store in the refrigerator.
Notes
Store leftovers in airtight containers in the refrigerator for 3-5 days.
